We're easy to find!

The Two Way Street is located at 1047 Curtiss Street, across from the Public Library, in downtown Downers Grove. We are one block west of Main Street, and one block south of the Metra railroad tracks. We are inside the First Congregational Church, which is a large, red brick building at the southeast corner of Curtiss Street and Forest Avenue. We now have a map to go along with our driving directions

Parking is available on the street, in the church parking lot, or in the lot north of the Library on Forest Avenue.

Driving Directions:

From Chicago via the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290):

Take the Eisenhower Expressway west. In Hillside, take the left fork onto I-88 towards Aurora. Pass through the toll gate and continue west 5 miles. Exit at Highland Avenue, and turn left (south) on Highland. Continue south on Highland, which becomes Main Street, 2 miles to Ogden Avenue (US-34). Cross Ogden Avenue, continuing south on Main about 6/10 mile (6 blocks) to a detour sign at Franklin Street. Turn right, and follow the detour one block west to Forest Avenue. Still following the detour, turn left (south) on Forest. After about a block, you'll cross the Metra railroad tracks. Continue another block south to a stop sign at Curtiss Street. We are on the southeast corner of that intersection.

From Chicago via the Stevenson Expressway (I-55):

Take the Stevenson Expressway west. Continue west on I-55 to the Lemont Road exit. Go north (right turn) on Lemont Road about 3 miles to 75th Street. Continue north on Lemont Road, which becomes Main Street just north of 75th Street. Continue north on Main Street, crossing 63rd Street, 55th Street, Maple Avenue, and Curtiss Street, to Burlington Avenue (just before the Metra railroad tracks.) Turn left on Burlington and go one block west to a stop sign at Forest Avenue. Turn left on Forest, and go one block south to a stop sign at Curtiss Street. We are on the southeast corner of that intersection.

From Interstate 294 (Tri-State Tollway):

Turn right, and follow the detour one block west to Forest Avenue. Still following the detour, turn left (south) on Forest. After about a block, you'll cross the Metra railroad tracks. Continue another block south to a stop sign at Curtiss Street. We are on the southeast corner of that intersection.

We are just two blocks from the Downers Grove Main Street Station on the Metra Burlington Northern Santa Fe Line.

Take Metra trains to the Downers Grove Main Street station. Walk one block south on Main Street to Curtiss Street, and one block west on Curtiss to Forest Avenue. We are on the southeast corner of that intersection.
