Little Epiphanies–a songwriting workshop with Jenny Bienemann

Join acclaimed songwriter and poet Jenny Bienemann for an immersive workshop designed to transform your songwriting process.

You will amaze yourself.

Yes, you are a wonder (you are!) and yes, you have a particular songwriting genius. You have demonstrated your genius again and again, even if you’re just starting out.

But this is not about proving anything. This is about encountering what you already know you know, but don’t remember that you know:

  • We think a song idea is going to arrive with a giant bow and gleaming red lipstick, a two-door convertible screaming into the parking lot doing a half-moon and stopping just at the tips of our toes.
  • In fact, most of the time, the song idea arrives in the guise of an epiphany that feels so ordinary you might just miss it. KNOW WHY THAT IS?
  • The song WANTS to get written. And it KNOWS that if it calls too much attention to itself, you might find it too intimidating to write about it. So it keeps a low profile.

That’s why we call this workshop, “Little Epiphanies.”

Using a multi-disciplinary approach engaging all of our senses, we will leverage our surroundings to arrive at the little epiphanies that are the building blocks of truly great songs. “Little Epiphanies” holds the space for you to take a deep dive into the heart of your creative spirit, offering tools and techniques to nurture your song ideas from seed to full bloom.

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or a budding lyricist, this workshop is designed to help you:

  • Discover new sources of inspiration
  • Develop your unique voice and style
  • Overcome creative blocks
  • Connect with a supportive community

Through a blend of exercises, group discussions, and one-on-one feedback, “Little Epiphanies” offers fertile ground for your songs to flourish. Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your songwriting craft in a nurturing and inspiring environment.
