On Friday, January 10, 2025 Two Way Street Coffee House Friday Night Concert Series presents Paul Klonowski and the Woodshop Boys as part of our Local Artist Showcase.

Paul Klonowski

Paul Klonowski has been playing folk music for decades, and had performed at the Two Way Street a number of times during the 1980s.  Life got in the way, but he’s now re-emerging, playing a variety of songs and tunes, from very old to more recent compositions, focused on clawhammer-style banjo.  While not a songwriter, he selects music to play that span genres, from traditional to folk music, even an occasional pop music song.  You never know what’s going to fall out of his banjo next… but it will be fun!

 The Woodshop Boys

An innovative traditional old time string band that stretches boundaries in every performance. Their music will have the audience tapping their feet to fiddle tunes and singing along with some old time favorites. This band formed in 2009 at a Woodshop with members common passion of woodworking and instrument building and a shared love of playing and singing. The Boys perform with some of the instruments they have built and carefully craft their sets around the instruments. These boys mix it up from fiddle tunes to sea shanties powerful vocals capture everyone as does the musicality with fiddle banjo guitar harmonica accordion and others. The Woodshop Boys musical influences include The Carter Family, Doc Watson, Foghorn Stringband, Woody Guthrie only to name a few.

If you can’t join us in person, you can still tune in virtually to catch the show!  Make your donation HERE to Paul and the Woodshop Boys. Visit www.twowaystreet.org for more information.
